So when Dorri, owner of from Downtown Spa and Relaxation Center In Georgetown and I teamed up, we took special care in ensuring that we designed something significantly different to what you see and experience elsewhere. We did this because , our desire is to offer you something more than just Glam & Spa. Our mission is to encourage a feeling of wellness, boost self esteem, encourage a lifestyle and attitude that is positively beautiful from the Inside Out!

I like the notion that you can call a girlfriend or two or a sister or your Mom and zip over to Dorrie and the Downtown Spa and pamper all day long. Dorrie is accomodating – has alot of specials, promotions and caters to many different treatments. The ambience is relaxing but fun, cheerful and well taken care of. The teas are a variety to choose from, the lights are dim, the music is soothing and the conversations or not, is very imaginative girl talk. The UBU glam shopping is a wonderful delight. It is a ooh-la-la brimming boutique set up to adore, surprise and impress. The choices are overflowing and the oohs and ahhs are escaping. It is a wonderful way to be kind to yourself or with a loved one.
It is time …. it is time for some Tara and Dorrie moments – book your “for me” time and let it be talk of the town sensation. Enjoy!

UBU and Downtown Spa – as well as Salon Philosophies and Creatively Beautiful just did a fabulous Extreme Makeover on an absolutely delightful and deserving young woman!
What an extraordinary Gift it is to meet with, and Glam & Spa with an individual who shines from the Inside Out!
These are the Highlights that make what we do special and heartfelt. These are the lasting rewards and memories that will forever be in our treasure chest.
As Women, we listened and chatted, felt and understod, imagined and believed! As women we laughed and cried, reflected on times gone by, enjoyed the present and dreamed about the future. Together we blushed and brushed , glammed and Spa’d – but more importantly – together we shared life events and smiled.

I cannot thank UBU, Salon Philosphies, Downtown Spa, and all the other amazing people who were involved in my Extreme Make Over enough!
For the past 5 years I have been struggling to face the day, let alone feel good about myself, and enjoy the company of people around me.
The last two days were absolutely amazing, I feel so alive!!!!
I want to tell you how welcomed I felt during this Make Over. I feel as though I have known you ladies all of my life, and I plan to keep in touch with each and every one of you. You not only made me look beautiful on the outside, feel beautiful on the inside, but I have a new out look on life, and a new circle of truly beautiful friends.
