This Mothers Day, I am reminded of the many wonderful heart to heart moments in time, my mom and I were fortunate enough to share.
Today, a mother myself of a happy and healthy 16 year old son, I am more than ever proud to share the the Birth of UBU Gift Sensations.

UBU Gift Sensations was born and named in memory of my mother. Today, I choose to celebrate Life , Glam- it UP and Feel the Sensations of a Look, Feel and Be Fabulous Attitute and Positive Lifestyle.

My mother and I were blessed with the opportunity to have many mother/daughter heart to hearts. We lived a life, full of energy, adventure, emotion and love. Together we imagined and dreamed. Together we fought battles , some we won, some we lost. Looking back we were always stronger and wiser because of the experience. Victories were always celebrated in style. Defeats were always accepted graciously. Often, we moved forward and sideways in life , always making room for change and life events.

We globe trotted. Travelled to far off destinations, danced in the streets, opened our hearts and minds to the expected and the unexpected. As our relationship matured, we learned to give and take. We weighed and measured each others circumstance and though not every decision made sense, we trusted and we believed in one another.

Together we laughed, cried, endured. We inspired and admired one another. With age we grew independent and dependent. As the years passed, we shared roles and changed roles. Simply put, we life life and added chapters to our storybook. Most of all, we loved and respected!

After a lengthy illness – Together, in October 2005, we found the strength and courage to quietly accepted it was time for us to journey forward in different directions …. AND… together late one night, we held hands and cried – sobbed. The hours passed. We held each other closer than ever before…so close it seemed, that our hearts beat as one. I was like a child (though in my forties) cradled in my mothers arms,… and like a child – I looked to my mother for answers, for truth, for comfort and for hope.
Filled with unknown and uncertainty , I asked mother – “What will I do? How will I journey forward, how will I be whole? ….And …..with great calmness , such a sense of knowing and certainty, my mother leaned in . She dried my tears and she smiled. Her smile was Big and Confident. There was a pause…a silence… a feeling like no other. A distinct feeling that “eternity” was, at that moment, being experienced. It seemed the Universe stood still. Then all at once, quietly she looked ‘into’ me – deep into my soul – (like only a mother can do) and said
..YOU be YOU! That is your Gift! Feel the Sensations! Go out into the world and be who you are ! Embrace Life! Live Life! Choose to be happy. Choose to Love! Connect with one another. Enjoy the gift of Living. Imagine and feel the Sensations! You be You!
