    Hey Tara!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your post!

So, you want to hear more about me and Magnique, eh? Well, I’m a born and bred Torontonian…and so are my customizable magnetic boards! I hand-make each one in my workroom – so every aspect of it can be customized including the size, material and frame.

Why do you need a beautiful magnetic board, you ask? Well, most of us love working and living in a warm and inviting space. So I created a new way to organize and showcase what’s important to you, while reflecting your personal style. And what could be better than that? :)

So browse on over to – http://www.magnique.com – and create your own perfect magnetic board and start de-cluttering in style!

Oooh! And don’t forget…if you need help please call or email me…I’m always here to help!

    xoxo,
    Tova

Tova – can you please post a picture of one of the magnetic boards?
    The magnets are glass?

These sounds super cool. Sounds like they would be amazing in a chic office space or a den- ooh and I also see them in a kitchen.

If I were to order a customized magnetic board – can I pick a colour along with size ? Can you briefly explain how that works.

Thanks for sharing your talents Tova

I’d love to post a few pictures but I’m having some tech difficulties doing it in the comments section…so please hold tight on that and I’ll do my best to get them up soon!

    Hi Tova

Sorry you are having trouble. I will post the pictures later today for you.

Are these pics on your website? What is your website? How can we see/buy your products other than online? Do you do events?
Do you sell to companies? Who is your target audience?

The glass pieces look beautiful! Are they hand made? Are they the actual magnets?

Your work is very stylish and very original. I love it ! Have you always been creative in this way? What prompted you to launch this business?
    It’s extremely fascinating.

    Hi Tara,

So, the magnetic boards are completely customizable – you can choose the material, frame and size! And if you have a material or frame you’d like to work with…I can make a magnetic board with that too!

I love helping people choose what would look best in their space – so I offer free consultations where I meet with you to help you choose!

Thanks for helping with the pictures! I also have tons of pictures online…so come over to http://www.magnique.com and check them out!

I purchase all my materials from Canadian companies and they are of the highest quality and are guaranteed to last a very, very long time! In addition, all the manufacturing is done in Canada – by hand, by me! So the pricing reflects the extremely high quality and Canadian content of both the raw materials and hand-manufacturing of all my products.
Even the super strong glass magents (glass itself is imported from Italy)
    — that can each hold between 2-4 pounds of ’stuff’ — are hand-made in Canada!

Oooh!! I have some exciting news for UBU readers and friends!! Type in the coupon code “UBU Blog” in your shopping cart and receive 25% off any magnetic board purchase! Valid until April 15, 2009!

    Hi Tova,

I just wanted to add in – I think that your idea of customized magnetic boards is truly innovative! I am interested in seeing some pictures as well. And your website is beautiful! How long does it usually take for you to design one? And what’s the most popular size that you make?

    Thanks for sharing:)

    • Tova / Apr 6 2009

      Hi Shannon,

In general, it takes about two weeks to complete a magnetic board. If there is a rush, I can make it in even less time. Our standard 18″x24″ magnetic board is pretty popular. I also make a lot of custom boards, which by their very nature means they are always different sizes.

I offer free consultations and quotes so please feel free to contact me if you’d like to design a magnetic board that is perfect for you! You can reach me via email at tova@magnique.com or phone 416.898.0377.

      Thanks for your interest!

      All the best,
      Tova
